The Ford C-Max is made at the factory in Saarlouis, Germany. The production of the C-Max and Grand C-Max models will stop by the end of June, as confirmed by Ford in a news release. The plant in Saarlouis, Germany, will continue to stay open with further investment in the Focus car, which is also built there.
The C-Max is Ford’s first hybrid-only line of vehicles, and both the plug-in and hybrid versions are based on the European gasoline- and diesel-powered versions.
