The Chevrolet Lumina was produced in North America from 1990 to 2001. It has four generations, with the first generation being a mid-sized 2-door coupe and 4-door sedan produced from 1990 to 1994, the second generation being a mid-sized 4-door sedan produced from 1995 to 2001, the third generation being a mid-sized 4-door sedan produced from 1998 to 2006, and the fourth generation being a mid-sized 4-door sedan produced from 2006 to the present. The Lumina was introduced as a replacement for the Chevrolet Celebrity sedan and coupe, and the Monte Carlo coupe, and was built at the Oshawa Car Assembly plant in Ontario, Canada.
