Chevrolet Celebrity Production Years
The Chevrolet Celebrity was produced from the 1982 to 1990 model years [[5]] . It was a front-wheel-drive, mid-size passenger car line manufactured by Chevrolet. The Celebrity was available in various body styles, including two-door coupe, four-door sedan, and five-door station wagon.
After the 1987 model year, General Motors shifted its focus to the development of the Chevrolet Lumina, and regular updates to the Celebrity were discontinued. The two-door Celebrity was dropped after the 1988 model year, while the coupe and sedan were produced until the end of the 1989 model year . The wagon continued production until 1990, when it was replaced by the Lumina APV minivan .
Despite declining sales towards the end of its run, the Chevrolet Celebrity was once one of Chevrolet’s best-selling vehicles. It had a long and successful run, but eventually made way for the Chevrolet Lumina.
