Ford Flex Model Years
The Ford Flex was manufactured for a single generation, produced from the 2009 to 2019 model years. It was introduced as the successor to the Ford Taurus X and functionally replaced the Ford Freestar minivan.
The Flex was unveiled initially at the New York International Auto Show in 2007 and sought to be a 7-passenger vehicle for the entire family without falling into the minivan category. It was slightly larger than its predecessor and was sized alongside the full-sized Ford Explorer in the Ford model line.
The production of the Ford Flex ended in 2019, and it will be discontinued in 2020.
