The Dodge Dart is a compact car that was produced by Dodge Chrysler from 1959 to 1976 in the US market. It was also produced for the Spanish market as a luxury car. The Dart was built on the Mopar A-Body platform and offered a range of configurations from practical six-cylinder commuters to potent V8 muscle cars .
In 2010, Dodge announced a new small sedan that would be called the Dodge Dart, which was a result of the merger between Chrysler and Fiat. The car was expected to be released in 2010, but the concept was dropped due to the 2009 financial crisis and the restructuring of the Chrysler Group. Unfortunately, the Dodge Dart has been discontinued and is no longer in production. It was available with various engine options, including a 2.0-liter four-cylinder, a 1.4-liter turbo four, and a 2.4-liter four, with both manual and automatic transmission options.
