In 1974, Ford produced several truck models. One notable model introduced in 1974 was the Ford F-Series with the sixth generation of trucks. The 1974 F-Series trucks featured a “dentside” design, which included a ‘dent’ in the side sheet metal that stretched from front to rear, as well as a more pronounced clamshell hood and a taller grille. Additionally, Ford introduced the first extended cab option for the F-Series trucks in 1974, known as the SuperCab. The SuperCab allowed buyers to carry extra passengers or more cargo inside the cab.
Please note that while the F-Series trucks were a significant part of Ford’s lineup in 1974, there may have been other truck models produced by Ford during that year as well.

Pick of the litter: Of the second-gen F-series trucks, the 1956 is by far the most desirable. Its one-year-only styling, particularly its wraparound windshield with vertical pillars, is instantly identifiable. Also, it was the first year for the 12-volt electrical system.
What Ford trucks were made in the 70s?
The first two years of production consisted of the F-100, F-250, and the F-350, with the F-150 appearing in 1975. Numerous trim levels were available, with the Custom Ranger, Explorer, Custom, Ranger XLT, and Ranger Lariat some of the most commonly found badges available across the F-100, F-150, and F-250 spectrum.
