The Acura ZDX is based on GM’s Ultium battery platform. It is Acura’s first electric vehicle (EV) and is built on the General Motors Ultium electric vehicle platform, as part of a partnership between Acura’s parent company Honda and GM. The ZDX is a mid-size SUV that offers rear- or all-wheel-drive powertrains and up to 325 miles of EPA-estimated range. It also features a performance-oriented 500-hp Type S model. The ZDX is expected to start around $60,000, with the Type S variant opening around $70,000. The ZDX is set to be released in early next year.
