The Honda Del Sol came with different engine options depending on the trim level and market. The uplevel model, known as the “Si” model, came standard with a 1.6-liter SOHC 16-valve four-cylinder engine with Honda’s VTEC technology for more power. The Si model also featured 14″ alloy wheels and power side mirrors.
In the Japanese market, there was a top-of-the-line model called the “SiR” which was powered by a 170 PS B16 SIR-II DOHC VTEC engine.
