1937 Ford Pickup Model
The 1937 Ford pickup model was a refresh of its predecessor, the Model 48, which was itself based on the Model 40A. The model was the company’s main product and was updated with one major change – the introduction of an entry-level V8 in addition to the popular flathead V8. At the start of production, it cost US$850. The Ford Line bore several model numbers during this period, with 85HP cars known as Model 78 and 60 HP cars known as Model 74 in 1937. This changed to Model 81A and 82A respectively in 1938, and Models 91A and 92A in 1939.
The 1937 Ford 1/2 Ton Pick-up truck was beautifully restored, featuring handsome Gray paint, Red wheels and pinstripe, and a gorgeous oak wood bed, powered by a smooth 221 cu in 85HP Flathead V8.
