The Toyota version of the IS300 is the Toyota Altezza. In Japan, the first-generation Lexus IS was sold as the Toyota Altezza with the codename XE10, and it was available as a sedan and as a wagon. The wagon version was sold in Japan as the Altezza Gita and in the US and Europe as the Lexus IS SportCross. The Altezza Gita was the only Altezza with the 2JZ-GE engine, which was also available in the sedan models as well as the Lexus IS300 Sedan.
