The “P” button on a Toyota Tacoma refers to the parking assist button. When you press this button, it turns off the parking assist feature, and the front and back sensors on your Tacoma will no longer beep when you’re close to hitting an object. This can be useful in situations where you don’t want the sensors to alert you unnecessarily.
Please note that the parking assist button is just one of several buttons on the center console of the Toyota Tacoma. Other buttons include the blind spot monitor button, the ECT PWR button (which stands for electronically controlled transmission power), and the rear push button that controls the rear sliding window. Each of these buttons serves a different function in the vehicle.
