The Ford Sport Trac Adrenalin is a high-performance sport-utility truck (SUT) that was introduced by Ford. It was dubbed as the world’s first high-performance SUT and was designed to offer a unique combination of performance and functionality. The Adrenalin features a 4.6-liter, 32-valve DOHC V-8 engine with a Roots-type supercharger and a water-to-air intercooler. It also includes short- and long-arm front suspension, a trailing-blade independent rear suspension (IRS), and SVT-tuned shock and spring rates for enhanced driving dynamics. The Adrenalin package includes unique bumpers, grille, fenders, running boards, headlights, and wheels. It is the only trim level of the Sport Trac that is configured as ‘AWD’, although the hardware is the same as the 4WD Sport Trac with a two-speed transfer case. The Sport Trac Adrenalin was produced from 2005 to 2010, with about 6,000 units sold in the three years it was produced.
