The Acura Legend is a mid-size luxury/executive car manufactured by Honda in Japan. It was sold in the U.S. and Canada under Honda’s luxury brand, Acura, from 1985 until 1995 as both a sedan and a coupe. The sedan was classified as a full-size car, while the coupe was classified as a mid-size car. The Acura Legend was the first flagship sedan sold under the Acura nameplate and was later renamed the Acura 3.5RL in 1996. The North American version of the Acura Legend was known as the KA9 series Honda Legend in Japan.
