Ford’s First Car
Henry Ford’s first car was called the Quadricycle. He built it in 1896 and took it for a spin on the streets of Detroit. The Quadricycle was a small, four-wheeled vehicle that had a 49-inch wheelbase and was 79 inches long overall. It was only 45 inches wide and 43 inches high. The Quadricycle had a gas-powered engine and four bicycle wheels mounted on a simple frame.

It was the first vehicle developed by Henry Ford and marked the beginning of his journey in the automotive industry. The Quadricycle currently resides at the Henry Ford Museum in Dearborn, Michigan.
Please note that the Quadricycle was not Ford’s first production car. The Ford Model A, produced in 1903, was the first car produced by the Ford Motor Company for sale to the public ).
