The 1999 Honda Civic Si is part of the sixth generation of the Honda Civic. It was introduced in the United States in 1999 and was powered by Honda’s B16 VTEC-equipped double-overhead-cam 1.6-liter inline-four engine, which produced 160 horsepower and revved up to 8,200 rpm. The Civic Si was available exclusively as a coupe with a manual transmission. The sixth-generation Civic Si coupe is widely considered one of the most exciting Si models ever made.
