Brian O’Conner drove the Escort during this pursuit and used its rally-spec suspension to take drastic measures to reach his friend, Roman Pearce, who was in danger of being crushed by the tank. Brian also used the Escort to push a destroyed Mustang into the gap between the two sides of the road to form an anchor on the tank.
