Is Chevy Trax 2020 a good car?
The Chevy Trax 2020 has received mixed reviews. Some sources highlight its positive aspects, while others criticize certain aspects of the vehicle.
According to a review from Edmunds, the 2020 Chevy Trax LS model offers comfortable seating, adequate power, and stability at higher speeds. The reviewer found the car to be very comfortable and stable, even at speeds of 70 to 90 mph. They also mentioned that the Trax is spacious and handles well. However, it’s important to note that this review is based on the LS model with specific options.
On the other hand, Consumer Reports mentions that the Trax has a comfortable ride and a decent fuel economy. However, they note that the power delivery can be uneven, and the handling lacks agility. The fit and finish of the cabin are also described as low-rent. Despite these drawbacks, Consumer Reports mentions that the Trax is well-equipped for its price and offers a roomy interior and ample cargo space.
Another review from Cars.com mentions that the Trax is good-looking and comfortable, with seats that are extremely comfortable. However, the reviewer notes that the car lacks pick-up and go, and they experienced issues with the tire pressure sensors. Overall, they were satisfied with the car’s appearance, handling, and comfort.
It’s worth mentioning that the 2020 Chevy Trax has been redesigned and offers more standard features compared to previous models. The Trax now has a longer wheelbase, increased cargo capacity, and more rear legroom. It is also offered in five trim levels instead of two. The Trax uses a 137-hp turbocharged three-cylinder engine, which is a reduction of 18 horsepower compared to the previous model. The LT trim level is recommended as it offers a big infotainment touchscreen, remote start, and optional heated front seats and steering wheel. Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are also standard on the LT and higher trims.
In summary, the Chevy Trax 2020 has its strengths and weaknesses. It offers a comfortable ride, spacious interior, and decent fuel economy. However, some reviewers have mentioned issues with power delivery, handling, and cabin materials. It’s recommended to test drive the vehicle and consider your specific needs and preferences before making a decision.

Is Chevy Trax a good car to buy?
Trax is a great value
It has adequate power and performs head and shoulders above anything with a CVT transmission. The screens and software work well and wireless Apple CarPlay is a big plus. AWD is not available nor necessary on a small light vehicle like this in my opinion but I live in a Wisconsin in an urban area.
