Is Chevy S10 a good truck?
The best vehicle I’ve ever owned
The S10 is a solid truck! I was very disappointed when Chevy stopped making them, hands down the most reliable small truck ever built. I never had any major mechanical issues with my xtreme other than basic maintenance. Rating breakdown (out of 5):
How much can a Chevy S10 pull?
Manual says truck is capable of towing 5800 lbs.
Can an S-10 pull a boat?
It would pull it fine but as others have mentioned it did not stop well. I actually pulled the boat up the steep ramps really well when i put it in 4 wheel drive. It got me by till i could upgrade to a bigger truck.
Can a S-10 pull a pontoon boat?
Your s-10 would be fine to move it around the yard, but I would never put it on the road! I pull my 22′ Pontoon (5,000lbs) with a 2500 cummins diesel and while the truck pulls it effortlessly, once i get up to speed, you definately know it’s there.
