Unlocking a Honda Civic Door
To unlock a Honda Civic door, you can follow these steps:
1. Close the driver’s door. Put the shift lever in Park and turn the ignition into the On (II) position.
– While pressing the brake, move the shift lever out of Park.
– Press and hold the unlock side of the master locks switch for approximately 10 seconds.
Additionally, you can unlock any door from the outside by inserting the key into the door’s keyhole and turning it 1/8 turn to the right.
It’s important to note that the method involving a shoelace or a long rod may not work for all car models, including those with locking mechanisms on the side of the door.
In case of emergency situations, it’s advisable to seek professional assistance to avoid causing damage to the vehicle.
