To unlatch the hood of a Ford Ranger, you can follow these steps:
1. Inside the car, locate the hood release lever. It is usually located on the driver’s side instrument panel, near the bottom of the dash, to the left of the steering wheel.
2. Pull the hood release lever to disengage the primary latch.
3. Exit the vehicle and go to the front of the hood.
4. Locate the secondary latch, which is usually located in the center of the hood, slightly to the left.
5. Slide the secondary latch to the left to release the hood.
6. Lift the hood straight up, and it should stay in place automatically, supported by the hood strut.
Once the hood is open, you can locate the washer fluid reservoir to add windshield wiper fluid to your car.
I hope this helps! Let me know if you have any other questions.
