How do you train a Ford TPMS sensor?

How to Train a Ford TPMS Sensor
To train a Ford TPMS (Tire Pressure Monitoring System) sensor, you can follow these steps:
1. Make sure your tires are inflated to the recommended psi.
2. Turn the ignition to the on position. If you have a push-button start, push the start button without pressing the brake pedal.
3. Push the hazard light button six times. The horn should honk, and you should see “Train left front tire” in the LCD display between the tachometer and speedometer.
When the message center displays “TRAIN LEFT FRONT TIRE,” place a magnet on the valve stem of the left front (LF) tire pressure sensor. The horn will sound briefly to indicate that the tire pressure sensor has been recognized by the TPMS module. Within two minutes after the horn sounds, place the magnet on the valve stem of the right front (RF) tire pressure sensor. Repeat this process for the right rear (RR), left rear (LR), and spare tire, if applicable .
After completing the training procedure for all the tires, the horn will sound twice, and the message center will display “TIRE TRAINING MODE COMPLETE” .
It’s important to note that the tire pressure sensor training procedure must be done in an area without radio frequency (RF) noise. RF noise can be generated by electrical motor and appliance operation, cellular telephones, and remote transmitters.
If the TPMS module does not recognize any one of the five tire pressure sensors during the tire training procedure, the horn will sound twice, and the message center will display “TIRE TRAINING MODE INCOMPLETE.” In this case, the procedure must be repeated .
Please keep in mind that these instructions are specific to Ford vehicles. Other car manufacturers may have different procedures for training TPMS sensors.
I hope this helps! Let me know if you have any other questions.
