Does the Lexus ISF have Brembo brakes?
Yes, the Lexus ISF does have Brembo brakes. Some Lexus model year GS, IS, and RC have the ability to bolt-on 6 POT front Brembo calipers onto the car. These calipers, with the right rotors, are a direct bolt-on without any use of shims, bracket, or spacers. Depending on the model of the car, the rear Brembo caliper can also be a direct bolt-on. There are two different versions of the Lexus Brembo Calipers: 08-14 Lexus ISF or the 15-17 GSF/RCF. The ISF calipers are a direct bolt-on if you’re using 2013 and up GS350 F Sport front brake rotors. Therefore, if you own either of these cars, then you would only need the full ISF1.0 kit for the rear.
Additionally, the partnership between Lexus and Brembo, the Italian performance brake manufacturer, goes back a long way. Brembo braking systems have been installed on everything from Lexus F Sport models to the LFA supercar. Lexus engineers turned to Brembo to develop and supply the serious brake systems for its new high-performance F models, including the ISF.
