The Chevy Bolt does not come with a power liftgate as a standard or optional feature. The liftgate on the Bolt needs to be manually adjusted to the desired height and opened by pressing and holding the button next to the liftgate latch for three seconds. There are no aftermarket power liftgate kits available specifically for the Bolt, but there are some generic aftermarket power liftgate kits from obscure suppliers that could potentially be installed by local auto shops.

It sure as heck isn’t in the owner’s manual. There are places to jacket there’s actually two jack points on it. But of course you don’t have a jack in a car.

With a button on the fob or dash the car will just “pop” the hatch or trunk. You still have to lift it (unless you have a power hatch). With the Bolt the hatch becomes unlocked when you’re next to it with your key in your pocket. I find it more convenient than having to push another button.
